Q4 2023 U.S. Android Market Report: Top Puzzle/Riddle Games

As the year 2023 drew to a close, puzzle enthusiasts on Android devices in the United States continued to engage with their favorite brain teasers. Sensor Tower's latest data showcases the performance of the top five puzzle and riddle games during the fourth quarter.

Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation saw a significant increase in downloads, peaking at roughly 101K in the last week of December. The game also experienced a rise in weekly active users, reaching over 210K in the same period, and saw its revenue grow to approximately $629K by the end of the quarter.

Lion Studios' Papers Grade Please! had a notable spike in downloads, with over 105K in the third week of November. Weekly active users for the game also surged to around 154K in the same week, and the revenue trended upwards, closing at about $230K for the last week of December.

The newcomer Freaky Stan: The Life Story from HYPERCELL started generating revenue in mid-November, reaching around $360K during the last week of that month. Downloads for the game hit their peak at approximately 79K in mid-November, while weekly active users saw a steady increase, ending the quarter with over 219K.

Unico Studio's Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles maintained a consistent revenue throughout the quarter, ending at about $2.1K in the last week of December. The game's downloads peaked at around 52K in early October, and its weekly active users reached nearly 295K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Impossible Date 2: Fun Riddle by MG. had its highest number of downloads, approximately 62K, in early October. Despite not generating revenue, the game's weekly active users climbed to a high of over 117K in the third week of November.
